Smith, PatrickName: Patrick Smith
Title of Project:
Characterization of Graphene Oxide Loaded Thermoplastic Polyimides
Advisor: David Kranbuehl
Honors Department: Chemistry

Graphene is the thinnest, lightest, and strongest material known to man. I will be incorporating this wonder material into the chemical structure of polyimides to enhance the polymers’ physical properties.

The Honors Fellowship will allow me to gather data that I will use for my honors thesis. More importantly, it allows me to gain experience in the laboratory and grow as a chemist.
