Graphene is the thinnest, lightest, and strongest material known to man. I will be incorporating this wonder material into the chemical structure of polyimides to enhance the polymers’ physical properties.
The Honors Fellowship will allow me to gather data that I will use for my honors thesis. More importantly, it allows me to gain experience in the laboratory and grow as a chemist.
Hometown: Chesapeake, VA
Future Plans: I hope to go to graduate school and earn a Ph.D.
Hobbies: I enjoy playing soccer, swimming, and playing the sax.
Fun Fact: I am sometimes referred to as a Jalapeño, because I am part Jamaican and part Filipino.
