I will investigate how the Catholic Church in Richmond responded to issues of race and slavery during the Civil War Era. I hope my research will further illuminate the role of the Catholic Church in 19th century discourses on race and slavery.

Hobbies: I am mostly involved with my church group, the Catholic Campus Ministry. I also enjoy hiking and exploring Colonial Williamsburg.
